I can’t say enough great things about FirstLight Home Care of Plano. They have truly come through for me and my community not just once, but twice both times when we were in a bind and needed immediate support. One of those situations was very last minute, and they were still able to provide care the same day, which speaks volumes about their responsiveness and dedication. Their team is incredibly reliable, and the caregivers they’ve sent have been kind, compassionate, and genuinely attentive to our residents. It gives me peace of mind knowing that the people they send are not only qualified but also truly care. I also want to give a special shoutout to Serna, their marketer, who has been amazing to work with. She jumped in right away and made sure we had the help we needed without delay. I was seeking help to ease the way for a very difficult, and needy friend with dementia to transition from her home to an assisted living facility. The owner and Caregivers at FirstLight were exceptionally sensitive and patient with her, even when she was being quite rude, contrary and obstinate about letting them help her with anything. Lou, in particular, sought creative and thoughtful ways to connect with her. She took her to the store, then out to eat. Lou brought meals to her room when the dining room was too overwhelming for her. She mopped up after her incontinent dog, helped her shower (a major feat), and even gave her a therapeutic foot bath! Ultimately, my friend, whose behavior became increasingly irrational and irascible abruptly terminated service. Brenden, the owner, and Lou were completely professional, kind and gracious about it.. I highly recommend this company!

I've worked with the owner of FirstLight Home Care of Plano, Brendon, for several years now. Brendon is a caring, thoughtful, strategic, smart man. He's the type of person who thinks carefully before speaking - one who comes off as somewhat of a 'man of few words.' But when he talks, the room quiets and you listen. I've experienced it many times. And because of all of his incredible qualities, he creates excellent solutions and outcomes - real results for all those with whom he works. I recommend working with Brendon and FirstLight of Plano if you get the chance - you won't be sorry.
