Anything I might say will pale in comparison to the wonderful experience my husband had while he was at Evergreen. The staff is top-notch and their hearts are bigger than they will ever be. It is care but care with a conscience, mercy, concern, love and patience, which is what we all need for our loved ones. Even the family of the residents become friends, and we check on each other to get updates on their relatives when visiting. They are constantly finding new items to add to their menu, especially during the holidays - that’s when they go all out. Though my husband was there barely 4 1/2 months, I cannot even think of any other place for him and I’m blessed to have found them. I looked everywhere prior to, including those places trying to impress with their luxurious common areas, but when it came down to individualized care, they fell way short of expectations and just want your money. Not here, Montice, their administrator, is wonderful - ensuring all runs smoothly while running a tight ship and full of suggestions, ideas and recommendations to assist your journey of care. I still visit some of the residents my husband made friends with and bring goodies to the staff whenever I can.
