There is so much wrong with this facility, but I will begin by highlighting the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the evening staff. From the manner in which calls are answered at the nurses’ station to the poor quality of patient interactions, particularly involving hospice patients, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I absolutely, would not recommend placing a loved one in this facility, even if they are currently in good health. For future residents who require special dietary accommodations, it is important to understand that these needs may not be properly honored, regardless of what is promised during the admissions process. Unfortunately, the admission staff will “say anything to get you in the door.” Additionally, I am highly disappointed with the individuals responsible for roommate assignments. Compatibility between residents does not appear to be prioritized, despite how important it is to a patient’s comfort, mental well-being, and overall quality of life within the facility. If I could go through this process again, I would have ensured that my loved one was admitted elsewhere.
