Since nothing is 100% perfect, this place has exceeded what I thought I would expect. The food is prepared quite nicely, but every now and then there will be a clanger. Not enough to make me change my mind lots of activities created by Malisa, including bingo, which is my favorite. Outside shopping opportunities once or twice a month via the bus provided here at Edgewood Point. Good air-conditioning in each individual room.Housekeeping is above average. The staff is always willing to help out whether they be at the front desk or caregiver. If a resident is unable to reach the dining room for any of their meals, then the food will be brought to them. Free Wi-Fi. DirecTV is provided. Streaming services are not. I have lived here for nearly 3 years and found this to be a not only a friendly environment, but it’s a safe environment. Building maintenance is very good. $ 3,000, 000 renovation 2 years ago included a new roof for the entire facility, including the memory care.

Edgewood Point is a remarkable place to live. It meets all the requirements one would need in an assistanted living community. The staff is superior and provides top notch service at any time day or night. The staff has a rare remarkable quality in that they treat you so much like family. The cuisine is top tier and provides a wide variety of tasty meals with nutritious value. Desserts and other snack food highlights the joy of eating at Edgewood. I would like to emphasize on the professional entertainment that they provide here at Edgewood on a weekly basis and how it brings the quality of life from a standard to immeasurable, ranging from old time, standard classics or contemporary. When it comes to the musical entertainment, NOT to exclude the variety of all other life uplifting activities. All and all living at Edgewood point is a pleasurable experience.

Edgewood Point is an outstanding assisted living community that provides exceptional memory care. Having several residents move there, I can confidently say that their families are consistently thrilled with the level of attention and support. A huge part of that success is Ellen Everingham—she consistently goes above and beyond for the residents, bringing genuine heart and dedication to both the people and the entire community

My Mom has been a resident at Edgewood Point for almost a year now and our family has been so grateful for the care and kindness shown toward her since day one from all the staff. The one downfall is there is only one elevator, so if there is a problem the residents on the second floor don’t have any options to get down to the dining room or other activities if they use a walker or wheelchair.

My mom moved into Edgewood Point nine months ago, having spent a couple weeks in rehab after a fall. Her physical and cognitive condition improved significantly in the first month, and has remained strong. I like that Edgewood Point is a relatively small community, and the staff takes time to get to know each resident. The building is kept clean and well-maintained. As a family member, I always feel welcome at Edgewood Point, and all of my questions have been answered promptly. My mom has enjoyed a wide range of activities, and is able to make suggestions for dining room menus. I feel fortunate to have found an assisted living center with such a consistently caring staff. From the office staff to the caregivers, dining room,housekeeping,and maintenance employees, every interaction feels kind.
