This is a fantastic facility to have a loved one stay in, short or long term. Their memory care unit is staffed with saints who have the greatest of patience and kind hearts. Our loved one was treated with dignity, kindness, and respect. The staff are great at what they do and easy to get along with, always answering questions or seeking solutions for any sudden issues. The facility is simple and clean, provides a peaceful environment both inside and out, and offers scenic views of the rural countryside where this facility is set.

This facility provided an unacceptable level of care, and I would not recommend it for anyone you care about. I visited my mother every day during her stay and consistently had to advocate for even the most basic needs. She was admitted for rehabilitation, yet instead of supporting her recovery, staff allowed her to remain in bed or seated for extended periods with minimal engagement. During my visits, I routinely had to reposition her legs to prevent pressure on her heels, request that she be showered, and ask for her bedding to be changed. On Friday, her skin showed no concerning issues. By Saturday, she had developed what appeared to be a small blister that had not been present the day before. I also asked staff to apply lotion because her legs were extremely dry and flaky. Whatever was applied caused her significant discomfort, and she had to request its removal. The following day, I arrived to find her foot and ankle severely bruised, swollen, and showing a large, alarming wound. The swelling was so severe that I could not touch the area. I requested that she be sent to the emergency room for evaluation. Although staff initially agreed, they later called to say they had started her on antibiotics and asked whether I still wanted her transferred. I insisted. She was subsequently admitted to the ICU with blood clots in her lungs, legs, and arm, along with sepsis and pneumonia. She remains hospitalized and is still fighting to recover.

Place seems generally nice. The entrance should be more wheelchair accessible in my opinion, especially since it's a nursing home. It's very difficult to get a wheelchair over one of the bumps in the doorway, and one of the exterior ramps is blocked by a brick mailbox.

Cant say enough about all the staff from kitchen,housekeeping ,techs, nurses, rehab staff, social worker and everyone else. So caring every one of them. My stay was in November 2025. Took great care of me while in rehab. Special thanks to the girls in rehab. Thanks to everyone!

Our mother just finished up a stay at Altercare Country Lawn and we can’t say enough good things about this facility. The staff is knowledgeable, caring and eager to help. There was great communication from top to bottom. Everything is clean and the food was great. We will encourage anyone we know to take their loved ones here.
