I've been here almost a year. Everything they told me about the place like going to Walmart. The Dollar Tree in other places .
It never happened. My laundry was supposed to be done on Saturday, but it doesn't the second ship. Third shift and not reliable. They don't do nothing. Luckily, there's 2 kind ladies, and they chef that takes up. That slack for the night chef and do laundry.
The cleaning of the rooms are minimal at best. The builders need to be cleaned in the air. Conditioning?
Has not been done hey told me they had a gourmet shuff. This guy is nothing but a cook. A short older cook if that there's a lot more, there's nol activities.

I went today to purchase an item from a resident and it was so filthy my shoes were sticking to the floor. It seemed like they had not been swept or mopped in weeks. Just reeked of fecal matter in so many rooms I walked past. It did not smell sanitary at all and I was so sad for the people who were living there. Just seemed unkept and I researched what kind of home it was. I would never let any of my family live there and I was so sad for the residents. If one room smelling a bit like poop I could understand but walking throughout it reeked of strong fecal matter in many of the rooms. Not sure why the smell was so strong passing doors if the bedrooms had people soiled inside or some other issue but I left the home so incredibly sad.

My father was at the pointe for a few years. He fell 3 times. 1st time he broke his shoulder. 2nd and 3rd time was each hip. Since his passing, i have learned that they were getting double payments. Not only were they getting money from the VA, they were also taking his money. I was contacted about this, but that is all. They haven't refunded anything.
They are money hungry people, with no compassion. Please, pass this place, and find another.

If I could give zero stars for this place, I would. I initially moved my parents into The Pointe three years ago. It was run by a wonderful management company, but about a year ago Colliers took over. They are not into this place for the residents, they’re all about money. The staff is mediocre at best. The food is absolutely horrible and mostly processed, medication is not given on a regular schedule, and they just do not look out for the needs of your loved one. I have since removed my father and he is now with us. If you love your family, don’t move them in here. Find another place.

And a word to the wise, if you do move them into any facility, be sure you have a camera in their room.

Absolutely incredible! I moved my father out of The Pointe, October 31. Today is November 13, and I receive a phone call from their activities director wondering when he’s getting out of the hospital so she can give him his veterans award. This just shows you further incompetence of this place.
