My mom was in and out of College Pines on three separate occasions this year. The staff were so good with her. There were times when she could be demanding and the staff never let that get to them. The first time she was there was right after a surgery to remove part of a bladder tumor. The day she arrived, she got a shower, a change of clothes and her hair fixed. The hospital she was at prior to her stay didn’t provide any of this care for her so she instantly felt better. My mom is a picky eater and the kitchen made sure she had what she would eat at every meal. They even gave her a jacket when she was cold since I hadn’t packed one for her. My mom passed away ar the facility on 4-27-26 but she wasn’t alone and the staff made her feel loved up until the very end. Thank you so much for taking such excellent care of her. If I could give you a higher rating than 5 I would. Laura Patrick

College pines staff, thank y’all so much for taking such good care of my grandpa, I see a total 180 in him since he was first at Carolina rehab, I could not be happier with the physical therapy, the nurses, admission, even insurance lady was awesome, I recommend taking ur loved ones there. It has been so tough for us this last year and I didn’t even think he could get better so thank yall so much truly and sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My aunt was here for 2 years and received nothing but the best care. The facility is very clean and the patients are well cared for and loved. What a blessing to have such a wonderful place for your loved one when you are not able to take care of them yourself.

My dad spent almost 6 months at College Pines before he went to Heaven. This nursing home is clean and feels like a home environment. All the staff from the front desk, cnas, nurses, cafeteria and grounds maintenance were always friendly, helpful and caring. I wish all nursing homes were like College Pines because our elderly family and friends desire it during their fragile time of life. The staff loved and took very good care of my dad.

My precious Mama has been at College Pines Health and Rehabilitation near Valdese, NC for just over one year and is doing so well. She is loved and cared for by wonderful Nursing/ CNA staff, as well as great administrative, dietary, PT/OT, housekeeping, etc. I am so grateful for the care she’s receiving and the kindness the staff have shown to me as well. It’s a blessing that she was placed there, especially so close to home.
