This is the worse place to have a loved one in. My husband had a stroke and was sent here for short term rehab. Upon arrival he was not given any paperwork or guidance on the place in which information such as rules and procedures. We were told he would get physical and occupational therapy twice a day for an hour and a half each time and his first four hours in his room they put a wheelchair in there where he tried to use to get himself to the bathroom where he fell and spent around 30-40 minutes on the floor bleeding until someone came to check on him. Called me and told me of the incident and that he only had a scratch on his arm. As I came in to see him I find his arm is all cut open with bloody bandages on him bruises all down his arm in his chest and stomach. I asked the nurse if anyone ordered a X-ray since he fell on the stroke side and had a hip replacement on that side which they did not do. He received one day of 20 minutes physical therapy and the next day two 30 minute physical therapy and the third day five minutes of occasional therapy in his room sitting in a recliner with blood all over the arm rest. They have a smoking area around back with no signs indicating that it was specifically for employees and I went there to smoke the director came out and drilled me in front of my grandson and about 8 employees out there smoking that was a tobacco free facility in which I apologize since I had no knowledge of those rules. I found out from those employees that they allow patients staying there to chew tobacco in their room and on the premises without any problems. I setup a meeting the next morning with a social worker, administrator and nurse practitioner and they could not explain anything or try to correct the problem so I took my husband out of there that very morning. I do not recommend this facility to anyone.
