I moved my mom from an assisted living facility in Florida where she was for 6+ years to memory care in Williamsburg. The staff welcomed her warmly and have made her transition seamless. They are very caring to her and communicative when she is having any issues. Kris, the director of the memory care unit, and her staff are involved and supportive of each and every person there. The facility itself has functions which encourage family and friends to come celebrate with them. Monthly activity calendars are emailed to family and they also have in house mini seminars to help navigate you and your loved one through this time in their lives.<br>Highly recommend this place.

The staff at Charter Living are very kind and compassionate. They will knock on my mother’s door and ask her if she wants to participate in activities and if she is going to the dining room for meals. They are very helpful to her. My mother at 91 years old makes comments just about every day saying how nice it is at Charter, she sits in the courtyard every day enjoying the flowers, trees and birds. There are always people around so when I can’t be there, I know she is not lonely and there are people looking out for her. We are grateful for Charter Living!

Our mother was a resident at an Assisted Living Facility and it was becoming apparent that she needed more services than what could be provided by that facility. We began researching facilities that could meet her various needs. As soon as we visited Charter Senior Living Williamsburg we knew we’d found a great place for our mother. We met with Elaine, who has been beyond helpful with this entire venture. She was available for every question we had that came up. She was able to facilitate this move so quickly, and for this we are so grateful. The staff at Charter Senior Living Williamsburg are so kind and caring for the residents. Mom was embraced by staff almost immediately upon her arrival and is doing so well. Our family member was fortunate enough to become a resident of Charter-Williamsburg, in the Memory Care unit. The Staff are professional and caring and put us at ease, knowing our family member was in good hands. They provide great service, accommodations and activities for the residents. We are happy we found this location.
