Yesterday, over the phone as I don't live nearby, I was trying to help my in-laws with their TV. They wanted to watch something but couldn't figure out how to get to the correct "channel". They actually needed to add Paramount+ to their TV. Both suffer with memory issues and the clock was ticking as the Live event started in about 1 hour. I wound up speaking with Ms Heather Wardlaw who works at Charter. I don't know what her exact position is but Angel-in-Disguise probably isn't her official title! Ms Heather tried to add the App with help from her daughter Ga**on, an upcoming high school senior, over the phone. After a minute or two Ga**on came up to Charter and set it up on my in-laws TV AND fixed a couple of bugs on my Mother-in-law's iPhone. She was kind and patient with both myself and my in-laws which is also a tribute to the example Heather set for her. I am SO thankful to them both and grateful.<br>Charter Senior Living, whatever you're paying Heather Wardlaw can not be enough! She's definitely a keeper!!!<br><br>Note: I added the ** to Heather's daughter's name since she's a juvenile.

I have so much to be thankful for with Charter Senior Living of Newport News. Before moving there, my mother was twice brought to a hospital, after insisting she wanted to remain in her home. Angel took her in during my fraught visit from California and Jennifer has the greatest rapport with her charges, I can tell, even from so far away. Corey should be mentioned as well, because he was very helpful when my mother's furnishings were being placed in her room. I have much less stress and worry now, though I keep my hand in monitoring her overall contentment and health. For the latter, her recovery from malnourishment and lack of hydration have been astounding. The inner open courtyard is a great resource, though excursions also form a big part of the program. Any incidental occurrences are promptly reported to me and I am pleased to keep her under the care of the mindful staff working there.

After visiting several different communities, my uncle moved here and I am so glad! I love with the community and Executive Director here. Angel is absolutely amazing and the spirit of the entire community is upbeat - they were actually doing tutu Tuesday today. God bless this team!

My mom with Alzheimer's needed more care than we could provide. She was having a lot more bad days than good, so we moved her to Charter's Memory Care. It's exactly what she needs.<br><br>In addition to being safe and well cared for by people who treat her like family, the daily routine and enjoying activities with others who have similar needs is comforting for her.<br><br>She doesn't always remember what she's done, but she always remembers how she feels. She feels good.<br><br>Thank you to the entire team at Charter for helping my mom enjoy more good days.
