I was at Jamestown Rehab for for almost three weeks. I received excellent care from my Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist. But I definitely received excellent care from three CNA'S. First, I want to mention Yvonne and Shay. They both were very good to me and they treated me with dignity and respect. Shay was the only one who took the time to enable me to brush my teeth. But in a league of her own is Linda Word. I don't know where she gets her energy but she's outstanding! There isn't a detail that she doesn't miss, except teeth, but she more than makes up for that. She even makes a mean bed! I also had excellent Nurses! The food could use a little work but if I ever end up needing Rehab again I will definitely return here!!

Barry in the PT department is such a kind and patient person. Our mother, who he work with, loves him so much. He is so good with his elderly patients. Always professional and highly skilled. If you get this guy on you team, your in luck. He's the best.

On the recommendation of the hospital, I was transferred to this facility. The staff insisted I be weighed. I was placed in a harness and hoisted up. I was there for rehab of a broken femur. The room was dated, the bed was a single youth bed, I am 6’3” tall. The food was served cold. My wife never save an ambulatory patient. They were either bedridden or in a wheelchair I checked out after a night’s stay. I called the rescue
squad and returned to hospital. I am due
Surgery to repair the femur. Do not go to
this facility for major rehab.

My name is Jan York and I discharge from Jamestown Health and rehabilitation today back home. I am interested in discussing my stay online with the community. Therapy scheduled minimal sessions which was different than my experience elsewhere however the therapists were both very good and nice. The two main attendants that I enjoyed the most was Donna Swann, LPN and Linda Word, CNA. Both are kind, cheerful and never hesitated to do things that I requested. Overall my stay was beneficial to going home and I feel confident returning home.
