⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Care and Compassionate Staff I am extremely pleased with the care my sister received at Williamsburg Post Acute & Rehabilitation. The staff in the Colonial Section were knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring throughout her stay. They took the time to address our concerns, answer questions, and ensure that my sister received the best possible care. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The staff members we encountered were courteous, helpful, and dedicated to providing quality service. Their compassion and commitment gave our family peace of mind during a challenging time. I would also like to recognize and thank Mr. Lee, Social Worker, and Ashley, Business Office Manager, for taking the time and guiding me through the process of completing and understanding the paperwork needed with patience and professionalism. I am grateful for the excellent care my sister received and would like to thank the entire team of the Colonnial Section for their outstanding support and professionalism.

I absolutely love visiting the residents at this facility. The staff are a compassionate bunch and they really create magical experiences for the residents by bringing the fun and joy to them. Krissy is amazing and she has a unique way of showing the residents that they are cared for, they are seen and they deserve to have experiences inside the facility that mirror what they experienced in the community before transitioning into the nursing facility.

I visited this facility with my friend who was inquiring about the best place for care for her loved one. Knowing I had been through this process three times before, she asked me to accompany her. I was impressed by the professionalism of the team. The residents I saw in passing from a distance appeared to be engaged, happy and aware of what was planned for their day. We were able to chat with the director or the head of the center I believe her name was Mrs. Taylor. She was so reassuring, comforting and well versed on all the things my friend asked. She seemed to really have a heart for the care of the people there. The care team members were in tune with what was going on with the residents. They all seemed connected and invested. By the time we were done asking our questions and we chatted, I promised to write a review and I am just now getting to it. I did not have this experience when my loved ones were in care at other facilities in VA Beach and Norfolk. We always had to stay on top of the staff and nearly do surprise popup visits just to ensure good treatment and care because residents spent a lot of time in isolation. My friend’s family member is not happy to be away from home, but she is happy that her time at Williamsburg Post Acute & Rehabilitation is a good experience.

My mother was here and although the first few days was stressful and hectic once she settled in and everything got organized I was pleased with the care she received. The aids are the gems of this facility. I hope they are appreciated. I visited my mom daily and each visit she was well taken care of. They made a stressful time a little less stressful and I appreciated them. It’s not a five star facility but definitely better than most.
