My family and I had to make the tough decision to move my mother from Texas to Alabama because she needed assisted living care. We choose the Gardens of Pelham in order to be close to family members in Birmingham, AL. The facilities and rooms are very nice, common areas are clean, and the kitchen is nice. The staff is attentive to the residences needs and keeping them engaged with activities. I highly recommend Cavalier Senior Living and the Gardens of Pelham.

Cavalier Senior Living has been a wonderful resource for my mom and our family. The team and staff providing care to the residents are very attentive and responsive to their needs. Anytime I was visiting my mom there were several staff members that stopped in regularly to check in on her and ensure her room was clean and in order. I also heard them when I was chatting with her on the phone she would tell me to hang on so she could let the staff know if she needed anything. If my mom had any heath concerns at all they were quick to notify us so we could address. I put this company and their facilities at the top of the list!

I've had a wonderful experience with Cavalier Senior living. From Day 1 the staff has been professional, attentive, and incredibly kind. You can truly feel the comparison they have for the residents. My Grandma is treated with respect, patience, and genuine care every single day. The facility is always cleaned, well kept, and thoughtfully organized which gives me peace of mind. I am beyond grateful for the care and support my Grandma receives. Cavalier is a place I trust, and trust means everything.

Cavalier Healthcare failed my 88-year-old mother after her discharge from Unity Psychiatric Hospital. Her prescribed psychiatric medications were not continued, and within 3 days, she had to be re-hospitalized. She spent less than 10 days in their facility but they still billed us for two full months. The emotional toll and trauma she suffered are unacceptable. Prior to this, another facility under their management in Hazel Green allowed her to elope after staff assured me she’d be watched. I have filed complaints with state and federal agencies and am pursuing legal action. I urge others: do not trust this company with your loved ones.
