The employees are sweet. However, it took close to 6 wks to get my knee brace, they didnt communicate with my insurance very well. Also, when my prior authorization final came through, I didnt recieve a call or anything. I called to check again(4th time) i was then informed i could pick it up at anytime. During those 6 wks i did reinjure my knee 2 times.

I've learned that I need to be fully educated on my equipment (i.e. Google to learn names and concepts) so I can effectively communicate what I want. Once I knew what to say, things have gone smoothly. Because insurance has so many bizarre rules, I am impressed that they can stay on top of it all.

I had knee surgery a couple of weeks ago I also have a really bad back with muscle and tendons being the only thing holding my spinal cord. A fall could leave me paralyzed. So getting around is already hard let alone you add on a knee surgery. Well before surgery the prescription was sent over from the doctor so I knew it would take a few days. But did not know it would take a week after surgery. Plus every time I called I was told they were waiting for the doctor to send additional information. But then I called the doctor's office and was told that information was sent. Then one morning I call and was told by this guy that it went through and it would be ready in a couple of hours. So a few hours later my daughter and I go and was told it had not gone through and they don't know why I was told that. I was pretty ticked off but they did give me a loaner chair. But then guess what I get a call saying it wont go through because the doctor's office did not send in the paper work so today I had to take the chair back and I don't know how I am going to get around now. So after reading the other reviews on here I am assumeing it was not the doctors fault this was so messed up. How can you be in a medical business and not know what you are doing? I also have a cpap rental I have not had a issue with that or the service with that except was told by my doctor to go there only to almost get smashed in a car accident going there to be told I had to call for a appointment. But I guess I have concerns now if they can not handle a wheel chair how well are they going to handle my breathing? Let alone if they mess up on my insurance are they going to charge my credit card and make me over drawn. This was not professional service and now what do I do to get around and what happens if I fall do they even care that their incopitence could cause me to be paralyzed.

Rude staff, director cares not for patients/customers. Only go here if you want lied to and your equipment returned non-functioning. They should be ashamed to be in the healthcare industry. Don't just take my word read all the other reviews and see the rating for yourself. The state needs to shut this place down. My insurance company has stated that an investigation "may" currently be underway as to if they will continue to reimburse this provider after numerous complaints on treatment of its members.

I called and asked if they had a used CPAP as I needed a second unit for our weekend retreat. I asked what they had and was told by Michele that they had a machine with approx 1700 hours and it was priced at $290. I said that would work for me and then she told me I would have to have my doctor call them with my prescription. I told Michele that I would call my doctor and if she could call me back and let me know that they did call so at that point I could come in and pick up my machine. I then call my doctor and they said they would be happy to send over prescription. A week or so passes and I call my doctor to see if they had in fact sent over prescription and they said they had done it right away. I call Michelle back and she again said that she was waiting to hear from my doctor. I explained that my doctors office said they had called. Michelle said they didn't call, then she checked again only to find out they did call but talked to someone else. I was then told my insurance wasn't going to cover the cost. Insurance was never brought up as I was always paying out of pocket so again more miscommunication. So we apparently got that figured out and was still waiting to hear back from Michelle as she was going to give me the final final ok so that I could pick it up. I did ask her at that time what came with the machine and she told me me VERY CLEARLY that it was just the machine and the heater/humidifier no hoses or nose pieces just the machine and humidifier and I said that was fine. Still didn't hear back from her so I called back again and was told by her again that she had not heard back from my doctor. At this point I'm getting very frustrated but keeping my cool. She put me on hold only to find out that she apparently did have everything she needed so I said GREAT!! Can I come in and pick it up on my day off tomorrow? She then informed me that I have to set up appointment even though I already have a machine it's a federal regulation. I said that would be fine. I wanted to confirm with her that there was no charge for that appointment which she said no and that the agreed price of $290 was still in fact the price. She then told me that DID NOT include the humidifier/heater and that would be $100 more. I told her that was not what she told me. Of course after all of this miscommunication how could she possibly remember what she said! By far what you would think would be a easy process couldn't have went worse. Totally unprofessional in every aspect. Maybe Michelle should keep notes on what she tells people and follow through with what she tells customers. What a joke. Avoid doing business with Care Pro and Michelle in customer service. Total waste of time.
