I have been in several rehab facilities and of all the ones I’ve been in, if I had to return, Care One in Whippany is the one I would choose to come back to. Most of the staff I have interacted with have been kind and caring, getting me what I needed and helping me to do things I couldn’t do by myself. I particularly want to praise the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy staff for their kindness, caring, helping and pushing me to do more than what I thought I could do. They gave me the chance to work in so many different and important ways while being aware of my injury and gave me appropriate activities to enable my healing while strengthening my body to do more. They were fun to work with and made the activities fun so I didn’t get bored. Their knowledge of the appropriate activities was so important and different from my experiences in other places. Overall I am thankful for my time here, and would return here again if I ever needed to.

From the first day I walked in and met Lana, the activity director I felt good vibes about this place. The care is good and Anne, the nurse is amazing. The food is over all good. The PT director, Barbara is great as well as all the other heads of OT, speech, and social worker services. Professional and attentive. Thanks guy!😊

I can’t say enough good things about CareOne in Hanover. Knowing my dad is there gives me such peace of mind. The staff is truly wonderful—they are kind, attentive, and treat him with dignity and respect every single day. My dad is always well taken care of—he’s clean, comfortable, and even gets regular haircuts, which means so much to our family. His room is always kept neat and clean, and the overall environment is warm and welcoming. One of my favorite parts is the dining room. It’s such a beautiful space where we can sit together, enjoy a delicious meal, and spend quality family time. That means everything to us. I’m so grateful for the care and compassion they show my dad every day. It really makes a difference. Thank you to the entire team at CareOne ❤️

I cannot rave enough about Care 1 Hanover. My Mom had Parkinson’s & was a resident for 3 months. The aides, especially Wally & Arlene, were awesome. They are overworked & underpaid for all they do. Always smiling & making my Mom comfortable. The nurses, especially April & Valerie, were wonderful too. I’m a healthcare worker & understand the stress of the job with all that the patients need, yet all of them smile & greet you very warmly. Though my Mom’s Parkinson’s progressed fairly quick, the P.T. Department was wonderful with her….she received PT/OT everyday & if she was in too much pain to get out of bed, they came to her. Sophia the social worker was very easy to talk to and very compassionate & accommodating, can’t thank her enough for all she did to help me. I’m sure I’m forgetting some people, but please know EVERYONE was wonderful & made my Mom's life just a little easier which made my brother & I comfortable having her there. The only thing I would suggest is to try and get the Pet Therapy dogs in more often. The pets really cheered my Mom up & put a smile on her face from ear to ear.

Care One at Hanover lives up to its name of Care None. they are understaffed and the CNA‘s are rude and nasty. At times they do not even speak to the patient when giving care. Some of the RNs do not speak or understand English very well. It definitely impacts the patient. I would not send any one. I know here. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for rehab care. The physical therapy and occupational therapy are good, but it is not worth the suffering the patient has to endure with sub-optimal nursing care.
