My brother (who lives out of state) and I had to make the difficult decision to move Mom out her home in November of 2024. She suffers from Alzheimer's, and even though we tried a live-in 24x7 caregiver in her home, things were spiraling out of control. To say that we are relieved that she is now living at Sunrise of Mountain Lakes is an understatement. Over the last year and a half, the staff there has become like extended family (Germaine, Barbara, Gifty, Lily, Kelly, Gayle, Nicole, Meredith, Kenya, Jeff - I can't even name everyone!...) are all wonderful. The level of care Mom receives is best-in-class. Alzheimer's is a brutal disease, and they treat Mom with the dignity and respect that she deserves, and trust me when I say, that is not always an easy job! While my Mom's comprehension level is severely impaired, she enjoys the daily activities, making "friends" with other residents, and the hugs and attention she gets each and every day from the Sunrise staff. There is no way I would have the skill to care for my Mom myself, as it's a full-time job; but knowing she is safe and cared for in a clean, immaculate and well-run facility gives me and my brother such tremendous peace of mind. I honestly don't know what would have happened if we didn't find Sunrise of Mountain Lakes; they have been "lifesavers" to me and my family, and I am so grateful for the love, care and compassion they show to my beautiful Mother.

The Sunrise facility has been a true blessing for our family. The staff is not only professional, but also incredibly kind and compassionate. From the moment, my mother-in-law moved in, we felt welcomed and supported. The community is clean and well maintained, and there are always engaged group activities available for the residence. The caregivers are attentive to every resident needs, especially appreciate how the staff communicates with us and addresses our concerns with sensitivity and care. The atmosphere feels like a true Home, and we highly recommend Sunrise of Mountain Lakes

Team was warm and welcoming and the care was very professional and well trained. You do feel like it is a family run operation which I believe takes significant management skill. Certainly the fact that the facility is new, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly maintained is a big plus. We feel very fortunate Sunrise of Mountain Lakes was available for our Mom.

The staff at Sunrise Mountain Lakes is fantastic!! Professional, knowledgeable, polite, and kind. I’m so impressed on their work ethic, thoroughness, and the way they take care of their residents. So thank you for taking care of my father-law…he really enjoys his new room, and how the staff treats him. I thank you for that too. The facility is clean, well maintained, and has a positive feeling an atmosphere immediately when you walk in. Thank you for all you do. You all work very hard and I appreciate everything you do. And my compliments to the chef/s…the food is absolutely delicious!! And the dining areas make you feel like you’re in a 5 star hotel.

We can't thank the staff at Sunrise of Mountain Lakes enough for all that they have done for our mother and us (my 4 siblings). The care and compassion with which your are treated with from your first meeting with the executive team, move in day, first few weeks of adjustment, to our one year anniversary is incomparable. The staff that helps with the residents are the nicest, loving, most caring people that you would be honored to have take care of your loved one. We can't thank Sunrise of Mountain Lakes enough for everything they do!!
