Joey Burns and Kim Hewett helped me get my wife admitted to CC Young. Koa Nye was the nurse who was with my wife to the end of her journey here on earth. These three individuals were the most professional individuals I've ever dealth with and far superior to what I was dealing with prior to my wife's admission to CC Young. Additionally, CC Young is far superior to all the services I had for my wife prior to CC Young.

Thank you so much for taking great care of my mother Brenda M., after falling and broke her hip outside of her apartment home on Jan. 5th, 2026. Baylor Hospital of Irving TX did the surgery on Jan 6th, but what was recommended by the great Dr. William Polachek, MD of BaylorScott&White was a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. Thank you, Areial, for telling me about CC Young. She loved it!! It was starting to get frustrating waiting on the insurance approval, but Bayloy was good about it. But CC Young was worth the wait!! CC Young is Great. When I got there, she had a big smile on her face, and she was happy!!!
The nurses were great! They stayed there at the facility for many nights during the ice storm.
Thank you, Kevin W., for reaching out to me the same day that my mother was admitted. It was a crazy day. Thank you, Stephanie, the Cordless Nurse, for the conversation we had during admission over the phone on that Sunday, because I couldn’t get there because of the ice. I got a lot of valuable information on the process and the goals. My family thanks everyone there. Therapy started on that Sunday, during the ice storm, doctor's visits, and everything started right away! There are so many people that I have to thank! Dr. Sebastiaan Bens, DO, and Dr. Rui C. Benevides, M.D., you called me right back one day because I had confused you. I saw your business card in my mother’s room, so I wanted to talk to you. You were so nice! Thank you all on the nursing staff for taking care of my mother! You all were so nice to my mother and brother. You would answer all of my questions. And I had a lot of them.
She got to meet people, and she had fun. Games and activities that keep her busy, and all of that was to help her get stronger. I loved watching them play chair Hockey and Volleyball and talking with the patients when I was there visiting my mother.
Thank you, Brittany A., for making sure that my mother was involved in activities such as movie night and bingo! It was nice to meet you, and you were so nice to my mom!
A Big Shout out to the nurses, and they even help with the food! The kitchen had good food and snacks, and coffee. My mom still misses that food!!! Plus, the food was to help her get stronger, too. So, a Big shout out to the dietitians.
I really miss that place! My brother and I spent Super Bowl Sunday there. I was cool. We brought pizza there and watched the game with my mom. It was a good day! Then, about four days later, it was time for my mom to leave.
Last, but not least, a Great Big Thanks to the therapists Skylar and Tori!! You two really helped my mother in her rehab. The two of you really helped me in training, with the recommendations and answering my questions on the status of her recovery. I love y'all, and many other people do too!! I miss y’all, and it was a sad day to leave, but I knew that it meant my mom had gotten better.
Thank you to the Discharge staff, Brittany W., the Discharge Nurse, and Jared, the Occupational Director, Kaelyn, CCY Social Worker, and A. Kristina Yarbrough, PA-C!!! Kristina, you were the last person I talked to, and it was a very important meeting, because that one was about all of the other concerns regarding my mom’s health that needed to be addressed ASAP, and we did. She is seeing all of her doctors, keeping her doctor’s appointments, taking her meds, and continuing with her therapy. She is during good, NO FALLS!!!
Thank you, CC Young, from Anthony M., Brenda M’s son!!
