Poor management. Don't have any compassion to patients with daily medical needs. Are not able to do the basic RN functions of wound care, so why even have an RN. Not able to help facilitate medical needs on weekends. Please send your relatives to other facilities that are more willing to help their residents.

We have had a positive experience at Brookdale. And reading other reviews (and complaints) about being understaffed - I'll just say, name one assisted living facility where this isn't a problem. Actually Brookdale staff does amazingly well for the tasks they are confronted with daily and hourly. The door issue, it isn't that big of a deal. A ridiculous complaint. From the office to the work force we have found Brookdale to be helpful, patient and caring. Our loved one's are happy and much healthier there. The menu is quite good. The rooms are beautiful. For those in need of such a facility and services, my wife and I would certainly recommend Brookdale. We are all very lucky and blessed to have such wonderful facilities as Brookdale that help insure the well being and health of our elderly friends and relatives. Thank you all!

I stay on the other side of their parking lot in my trailer and have made several complaints about noise coming from staff as they are leaving the building. Everything from a car with no muffler to screams at 10:30pm. If they do not care that their neighbors are feeling bothered would they care about the patients? I'm thinking probably not! Sincerely tired of noisey neighbors

Understaffed and the employees that are there are not managed or observed in their work. There are some great caretakers who are very caring and passionate about what they do, but again, they are very understaffed. For example, they have to take breakfast, lunch, and dinner orders, serve the food and help the guests all at the same time as ATTEMPTING to answer calls from guests that need help in their rooms. Therefore, the people left in their rooms do not get timely help and I am using the word timely sparingly! Also, there are odors there that should not be if they were cleaning rooms. Finally, if you are looking for a placement for someone you care about, please notice the front doors when you visit Brookdale. The first set opens with an auto door opener, but the second set does not. We did not think about this when we chose Brookdale, but however this is a big deal because if you are in a wheelchair, have limited mobility, or are weak, it is near impossible for you to get through the second set of doors! I have helped multiple guest get through the doors who have said they have complained about this several times but it never changes. That is in my opinion, sad. Knowing all this, we would look elsewhere now for our dad, but he is used to a system and likes his fellow peers.
