Do NOT put any of your loved ones here in Lubbock, Texas. My father in law went into this place on 02/11/2026 with a fractured pelvis which they stated they could care for him. He would push his pendant and It would take over 45 minutes plus to respond to him to have assistance to go poop. I was advised that a nurse from home health came by to put catheter in and draw blood and he needed to poop she tried to get assistance and a lady from downstairs named Tessa came up and stated she would go get help but she NEVER RETURNED WITH HELP so NO ONE came. I called Cade and reported this to him he stated I’m sorry we were all in an All Staff Meeting. So they are in meetings and not answering call button!! So, if my father in law is having a heart attack or something ya’ll are in an all staff meeting and he gets NO HELP? I told him that is against the law someone has to be on the floor answering call lights!! The home health nurse and my sister in law had to put him on potty chair which was full of pee that someone never dumped and it spilt on floor that no one cleaned up. That evening I went up and at 5:28pm he hadn’t had dinner so he pushed the button NO ONE showed up I went down and got him dinner at 5:50pm. The CNA went back up with me stating she is going to check on him she stated to my sister in law I’m sorry we forgot about him!! Keep in mind he has pushed his button. So on Friday 2/13/26 I took off work to go meet with Cade, Alma and Tara. I told lady at front desk I wanted to speak to Alma and Corporate due to Neglect she stated won’t be the first time. When I arrived that morning there was a CNA in his room trying to fix his TV but she never came back to check on him I had to clean him up put clean clothes on him and change his diaper due to he had same bed shirt on since he arrived. My sister in law came helped him shave and brush his teeth due to no one answering call button. Yesterday, 2/14/2026 we show up to move him out he had pushed button to go to potty NO ONE showed up David went and found someone. I asked why they aren’t answering his button calls she stated “ I don’t care a walkie talkie phone” so she never knows when someone calls! I sent Cade all this information and asked for Alma’s number and no response!

Do not take your loved one here! They cannot keep help, it’s one big chaotic mess over there, the food is horrible, and with billing they don’t know what they are doing! They try and bill for services they are not providing! So far this has been the worse experience and we are very unhappy! DO NOT GO HERE😡

This place is not the fanciest in town nor is it the cheapest in town, but one thing you can guarantee is that your loved ones will be taken care of with compassion and love. They are treated well and always have fun activities for the residents to participate in. We had some hiccups in the beginning getting our auto draft figured out but that is because of some transitions that happened right after my dad moved in and the staff was nothing but accommodating and easy to work with. I would recommend Brookdale at Remington Park to anyone looking to find a home for their loved ones that need a little extra TLC.
