My uncle has been there for many years now and everyone at Bridebrook makes him feel loved and important. I was greeted by the lady at the front desk with a smile and uncle always points out the different activities that are going on and his picture hanging up in the hallway, he is a Vietnam veteran and very happy to be at Bridebrook I feel like they give the veterans special love and appreciation.

I am being discharged from Bridebrook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center tomorrow, May 12. I have been here for 10 weeks for an infected knee prosthetic & a knee replacement. This is my third visit to Bride Brook and I spent a lot of time in physical therapy and occupational therapy which is top-notch. I became much stronger with PT & OT working one on one with me. They were exceptional. The Nurses were professional, friendly & proficient. The CNA’s could be counted on to help you with whatever you needed. I’m giving Bride Brook 10*, they are that good. Nice looking and clean facility. Overall, the Nurses gave great care, and most Aides were kind and caring. As far as rehab...there were a couple of PT's and OT's that were great, but the ones she was with most of the time kept saying "she is doing great!" ... I questioned some of what they were and weren't doing a few times and received a condescending response. Now that she is home, I don't believe they had her up and moving enough because she is in need of A LOT of help with almost everything. There were a couple of safety issues I witnessed as well mostly regarding gait belt use early on. They were also supposed to send her home with a walker and evidently there was an "issue" ordering it. She has now been home almost 2 weeks and we are STILL waiting for the correct size walker for her. If we find a need for rehab again, I do not think it would be our first choice.

The staff we're very courteous and helpful upon my arrival. During The course of my visit with my mother I felt at ease knowing she was in capable caring hands. I will rest a lot easier moving forward knowing she's exactly where she needs to be for now and that her needs will be met professionally. I highly recommend this facility to care for your loved ones.

Though the facility was rated 5 stars on the government website, after comparing to a Marlboro Rehab Center, the staff was not as engaged, some of the nurses were not good about taking suggestions about skin care. My mother in laws bottom became Increasingly reddened despite us buying the protection for her bottom, that they were resistant to using, despite taking 10 seconds to put them on. The whole time we were there , the focus was on covered days not what the patient needed. When my mother in law was earlier in Marlboro Rehab, not once was covered days brought up, just her care. 3 stars seems fair as some of the staff was good, however there was always someone new seeing her for OT and PT. Others were not very engaging. If I hadn’t seen how other places worked I might have not known how much better other places were in comparison. The facility is beautiful, however the staff at the other home we visited were always happy and engaging, not like Bride Brook. Just suggesting to do your homework, the number of stars on the gov.org site, don’t tell the whole story. Should she have another fall, think we would weigh our choices differently despite Bride Brook being close to her home.
