My sister was in the care of this facility. I highly recommend it. She was well cared for with love and compassion. Every single staff member....in all aspects was amazing. She passed away while in the care of this facility. I couldn't be more grateful for the level of care and compassion not only for her but for myself and the family. They were professional, highly attentive and extremely compassionate. Whatever she needed or my family needed they were right there. To all of the nurses, physicians and administrative staff I am so grateful for your presence and dedication during this difficult time. We are all so very grateful for you and the level of care you all expressed and acted upon. I highly recommend this facility. With all my heart.. I have deep gratitude. Thank you.

Hey Tammy! 👋 It’s me! (actually) I want to start off by saying I truly believe this facility has great potential. There is great staff there from the APRN, floor staff, and Sam the Assistant Director of Nurses are all truly amazing! Can’t forget the kitchen staff, just wonderful! But unfortunately, since the arrival of the new Administrator, Denise, the environment has become increasingly negative and stressful. There have been several situations that have made it difficult to work in a positive and ethical manner. I’ve observed behaviors that seem manipulative and dishonest, and I personally felt pressured to alter a statement to exclude certain details, which made me uncomfortable. With strong, ethical leadership and continued support for the hardworking staff, this could be an exceptional place for both employees and patients. ❤️❤️

I wouldn’t recommend this place to nobody! They are abusive, not caring, and staff is always arguing! The new administrator Denise doesn’t care! When a complaint is given nothing is done! They’re always short staff! Staff come and go in this building! Nobody stays! The DON always looks so stressed and worn out! You can clearly tell she doesn’t want that job! Every time someone goes to the supervisor office nothing can be answered it’s always chaos in there. The girl at the front desk during the week looks so miserable, everyone there looks so miserable! The Physical therapy department sucks! All they worry about is the money! They don’t care about the patients! The food is awful! The water comes out brown in bathroom sink! This place needs to be shut down or look for a new administrator! What happened to Moshe? He was just so amazing and well spoken! The state needs to look into this building! For some reason I can’t find the most recent survey done my state in the building or online! Once again don’t send your family member here you will regret it!

Some of the staff was competent, but theft is a huge problem. My mom had her laptop, slide show picture frame, countless clothes stolen and everything they put in the safe was missing. The food was inferior. One night they served a hot dog with no roll and steamed carrots. The memory care unit needs better staff. My mom was found naked on the floor with what they thought was a broken wrist. Turns out it was a broken hip. My mom passed from complications from the surgery. Needless to say I would not recommend this facility.

I’ve been to a few rehabs. Nothing like this one!! I stayed on the “Pavilion,” which is for short term rehab. Rick was my primary nurse, and those that worked with him were a great group of people!! That’s not to say the rest of the staff in the entire building didn’t do the same. I’ve met so many great nurses and staff, who all jumped in to lend a helping hand when needed, whether it was their job or not; from the, Kitchen, to Physical Therapy, OT and the Business Offices. No door was ever shut to the patient’s. It was a home away from home, I didn’t want to leave. I took a few pictures for my own keepsake. If you have a love ❤️ one that may need short term or even long term care, consider New London Rehab and Care Of Waterford.
