This is the worse place you would want to put your love ones. They are under staffed. The food they serve the residents is horrible. They are required to check on each resident every two hours, and they do not. Residents lay in there soiled beds for hours before anyone decides to answers the call button. They drug/ over medicate the residents when they do not want to be bothered with them. The resident doctor on duty is a joke. Resident's don't get there therapy when Needed or scheduled. They next step is the graveyard. If you love your family, it's best to keep them home and pay someone to come in and care for them. Or you get paid to care for them.

My brother was there twice the first time in the rehab section was very nasty smells like urine, staff un-friendly and overall a crappy place to be but the second time they pushed us into putting my brother back this time around they have the best unit manager Emma and a nice lady doctor but the rest of the staff is very rude they look at patients like trash basically. they literally just push people out, but that black lady Emma was very kind so it's a mixed emotion,

I've been trying to talk with my brother for 2 weeks. I'm calling from southern Indiana and can't just pop up there. The 1st time I called I was on hold for 25 minutes. No one ever picked up at the nurses' station. When I was transferred back to the operator, I asked her when was the best time to call. She gave me some recommendations. I called back at those time and still never got thru to the nurses' station, so I gave up. Today is my brother's birthday. I called again, no answer at nurses' station. When my call rang back to the operator, it rang for about 1 minute then disconnected me. My other brother from Missouri tried to call our brother today and was disconnected 3 times. If this is how they handle family phone calls, it makes you wonder what type of care they provide.

This place is a dumpster fire of a facility. They are understaffed, unresponsive and uncompassionate. Phones don't get answered, requests for care go unfulfilled, doctors' orders are not followed and much of the staff is rude and unprofessional. The problems here are systemic. The state needs to come in and shut this place down for good and hold management accountable.

My wife came there to get better. After 2 weeks there, her insurance cancelled and that quick she was out that center. The place smelled, was dirty, they hardly washed her up and they were all pretty rude staff. Now I work with people everyday, it's our jobs to make them happy. Especially working in a health field your job is to care for people, it's such a shame that people who work in healthcare don't care about their patients, their just a number!
