Worst place to put a loved one. What’s this Cash payment only for a room Saw my mom today looked like she hadn’t taken a bath in two weeks. But here’s a good one she didn’t want to see me today so for 3 weeks now I can’t see her room.

Briarwood , if it was ever a safe place for your loved one, is now filthy & rundown . The food portions have been reduced by all most half & with beverages so watered down they may as well be colored water. There is nolonger an evening snack which may residents need to maintain proper sugar levels. Not to mention, I believe an evening snack is mandated by NYS regulations for elder care. It seems many of the mandated regulations are ignored in regards of resident nutrition & privacy, facilitie cleanliness, electrical safety in some rooms... The list is endless.. If you must place a loved one somewhere. Do your homework first. Get on a waiting list for a facility that actually delivers what they promis . Somewhere with eatable nutritious foods, floors that aren't stained with bodily fluids. And that actually adhears to NYS regulations for proper dignified care of your loved ones.

Would rate 0 stars if I could! Terrible establishment. Undertrained staff and also not enough staff. Treats employees and residents like dirt. Beyond unprofessional. This place is a joke, do better! I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this place

This facility started out very nicely. Staff friendly and helpful. Tons of activities to keep residents busy. Things however have taken a nasty turn. Staff is rude, uninterested in residents needs, and the bare minimum takes place. The facility is dirty and bacteria ridden! Everything is up for grabs and disappears on a daily basis. Very, very poor management. Sad state of existence for the elderly that reside there.
