My experience on friday November 20th was that of bias and ignorance in the basement thrift store. The cashier and their helper made a statement assuming that a dark skinned woman came from another country when she was born in Montana! They proceeded to talk about her when she left. 2 other persons that were not white went to the register shortly after and they received service that was more aggressive than others were being treated. They were older, and there is no excuse as they've had plenty of time to figure out how to treat people. What a terrible experience.

Thrift store tips! It feels like the entire senior center has thrift items around it! There is currently a Christmas section which is AMAZING. When you walk in you walk forward and then go towards the right, where the cards are there will be a sign that you can navigate to the basement. The prices are very fair and all proceeds got to meals on wheels.
