For the past several years I have had experience with the staff of Gallatin Rest Home which has been providing compassionate, caring, and professional care for my son who is a stroke survivor, paralyzed on the left side of his body. Because of his size and disability he requires more than the ordinary care. The staff has been responsive to his needs and to any concerns that we have expressed. Employees are friendly and cooperative. The facility is modern, with lots of natural light, wide hallways, and spacious common areas. It has an aquarium, aviary, and lovely courtyard garden that is maintained by the local garden club. The food is varied and good. Visiting hours are not restrictive. There are activities geared to the level of ability of the residents.

Very beautiful rest home with clean and very spacious communal spaces for the guests that stay there. This is an open home where it is easy to visit. The staff are very friendly, very professional and very helpful. We received a lot of clear and very useful information that helped us understand how they work with the guests. They have a beauty salon and a fitness room for the guests, birds in a big aviary as well as an aquarium which makes the atmosphere even nicer. The rooms are spacious, cleaned with high care and they allow guests to decorate their rooms to a certain degree to their own tastes. We are happy to know that our family member is safe and well taken care of in this home.

The rehabilitation side where my friend was temporarily staying was clean but a bit run down. In need of new furniture, bedding and mattress pads!!! The grounds are very nice!!! Staff was friendly! Although when my friend arrived she was not greeted and informed of any procedures or medical treatment. She arrived at 12p and her medication didn't arrive until after 8pm... had to drag the evening nurse in to finally get any information...very poor care giving!!

Excellent staffing! Very friendly. However, while the food itself is great, it does not fit the doctor's specifications of being pureed and not spicy. He needs extra time to eat which does not always fit with the tray pick up schedule. But excellent excellent friendly and knowledgeable staff. We are grateful for their care and attention!!
