I have lived here a little over a year and would recommend it to any senior who is looking for a happy place to call home. The management team is amazing, always helpful, thoughtful and kind, the guys on the maintenance team are great, always there to help. The neighbors are sweet and always down for a game or a cuppa coffee. This is the 2nd Shag I’ve lived at, and it’s HOME ❤️

Lorenzo is the best maintenance person I have ever met!!! He knows what needs to be done and has taught me how to take care of my apartment!

This place needs to be reported. An apartment complex targeting older population yet does not provide any real services. Elevators are always out of order, which causes confusion and makes older people walk the entire building. For older people this is unacceptable and needs to be reported. Further there is no AC in the rooms, and this place gets very hot! Older people have troubles sweating and this is a dangerous place to be. What a joke, my grandparents should have stayed in their house or home to an actual care facility.

Please please do not rent here at Bothell Shag !!! It’s a terrible place!! The office girls are rude, curt, and treat you like children, they are very disrespectful!!! The elevators are always out which pose a threat if you have an emergency or health issues!! There is no parking for guests or children wanting to visit!! We do have great neighbors!!

I dont live at Shag but I take care of someone who does. And have been going to her apartment at shag for 2 years.<br>I have several valid complaints.<br>Any time my client has put in a work order she gets ignored. No phone call to explain why no one shows up to do the work or any information about when someone will do the work. Instead, she had to put in another work order and often times more than twice!<br>The elevators CONSTANTLY breaking down and when they are supposedly working the are scary! Jerking to a sudden stop or end up getting stuck inside until you get rescued by the bothell fire dept.<br>The staff seems nice at first but the reality is they are LAZY,RUDE DISRESPECTFUL, and argumentative!<br>They make excuses for not doing maintenance, or for their lack of professionalism.<br>They once lost my clients rent check that I hand delivered to a staff member! They tried to say they never got it! This was the second time having issues with paying rent!<br>They need to re-staff the entire place and get employee's that are friendly, respectful and actually DO THEIR JOBS!
