I was greeted by Eleanor, who is in charge of admissions, and she could not have been more welcoming, helpful, and informative. She took me on a tour of the entire facility, and I was genuinely blown away.<br><br>The place is incredible. The studio apartments are beautiful, and the two-bedroom apartments are equally impressive. Everything was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and inviting. There is also an incredible amount of activities and things for the residents to do, which really stood out to me.<br><br>The location is fantastic as well, with supermarkets, Walgreens, and other conveniences nearby. It really has everything you could want for a loved one in assisted living.<br><br>I also noticed that the facility is so highly rated, and after seeing it for myself, I can completely understand why.<br><br>I just got off the phone with my mom, and we’re going to come back together so she can see it for herself. I honestly can’t wait to bring her.<br><br>I haven't had the experience of having my mom live here yet, so I can only speak to my experience visiting and dealing with Eleanor and the facility so far—but based on what I've seen, this place feels like a dream. Five stars all the way!

I wrote my initial review three years ago when my dad first entered this outstanding residence. The level of care continued to be remarkable. It was a true "home" where he always felt most "safe" and cared for--his words. The nursing staff is outstanding, always keeping an eye on him, the option to bring a companion in to sit and talk with a resident is wonderful, the caseworkers take fantastic care of residents and arrange rides, the financial officers are amazing at helping with documents and paperwork, the psychologist, Dr. Kutner, is warm, caring, and insightful, and the director and assistant director are splendid--attentive to each resident, even visiting my dad in rehab a few times.<br><br>I can't praise Boulevard enough. The administrators are so deeply invested in the residents' well-being. Their caring shows in every single interaction. They did everything they could to help with my dad's admission process and make the move-in as smooth and welcoming as possible. Ms. Taasa, Ms. Steinberg, and Director Sam Horowitz went above and beyond to get everything ready, and called repeatedly to check up on him afterward. The community is a warm, hospitable place with terrific food and amenities. I am very grateful my dad is there.

We have been so happy having our mother at The Boulevard ALP. Elinor made the admissions process go very smoothly. She took the time to explain everything and make a very complicated process seem easy. My mother is still going through the period of adjustment after living independently for so many years, But everyone at The Boulevard could not be more kind and accommodating from Elinor in admissions, to Lisa in Case Management, to the aides that are there to help her with any activities of living. Literally everyone. The place is top notch with a beautiful dinning room, meal choices and plenty of activities. It gives us comfort to know that our mother is in good hands.

The Boulevard is a lively, upbeat place with resident run projects and workshops, and staff that really cares and will go out of their way to accommodate individual needs. My apartment is cozy and more spacious than some Manhattan studio apartments. I have been here 2 years and have made some very good friends and participated in wonderful activities. I am happy and grateful to be part of this senior community.
