Moved my mom out of there two months ago. Left her in her urine soaked bed for over two weeks and told us nothing (we could smell it from the hallway and they could never “figure it out” but I figured it out as soon as I touched her bed). Disgusting to leave a human being like that. Never gave us her meds to take to the new place which I’m not sure is even legal. Never tested her for diabetes though we asked for over a month. New place tested her and got her on meds with in a week. Many other issues (staff never knowing what’s going on, new nurse every month, bus ride injured my mom so bad she is terrified of going in cars now, etc). We plan on filing a report soon. Lots of neglect very sad.

We plan on making a report on them now that she out of that place. Many other issues but I wanted to make this short and not so sweet.

Bickford of Omaha Hickory has been a blessing for my Mom!! They have very caring staff and so many activities for the residents. I was worried that my Mom would have a hard time adjusting to moving from independent living to a memory care facility but thanks to the staff she was calling Bickford home. Thank you to all the staff for all you do!!!
