I have been a resident at Beavan Kelly Rest Home for the past two years after suffering a stroke. I can’t say enough about how wonderfully I’ve been treated. The staff has been amazing as far as letting me do things for myself and when I do need help all I have to do is ask. They have seen me through treatment for lung cancer and I couldn’t have asked for better care. I have a private room in a grand building that was built at the turn of the century. I have three very good meals a day and I don’t even have to do the dishes! Any question I have, from healthcare to finance, is answered. I am so very happy I found Beavan Kelly!

My father had been in multiple places before this one. I can honestly say that this place has the best staff hands down! They are very caring and always busy. The places he’s been before had nurses around the stations looking up horoscopes and just plain lazy. I am so happy and comfortable that he’s there. I cannot praise Lori, Taisa, and Heather enough. I haven’t come across one rude staff member yet! Thank you thank you thank you for accepting my dad.

My sister began residing at Beaven Kelly Home (BK) in the spring of 2019 and she has absolutely flourished since moving there. She has a safe private room, access to on-site medical staff, three nutritious meals which she selects from a daily menu, laundry service and weekly housekeeping all provided in a relaxed atmosphere. BK offers numerous social activities which my sister participates in at her choosing – bingo, musical activities including concerts, movies, and shopping outings, etc. Management has established a security procedure to control entry and exit of the building; strict enforcement of this policy ensures a safe living environment for all residents while maintaining the residents' ability to come and go independently. During the pandemic BK established a rigorous safety policy to guard residents and staff against COVID infections. The protocols are based on best practice guidance. The policy is adjusted and updated as new information becomes available. The policy is strictly enforced which has occasionally resulted in on-site visits and outings being temporarily suspended as a precaution. Visits and outings are reinstated when appropriate. BK provides 24 hour medical care for residents. They monitor my sister's condition on a regular basis. Her blood pressure and weight are checked frequently. The medical staff manages and administers her medication as well as scheduling her appointments for primary care, specialist visits, eye exams, dental exams, vaccinations, etc. The business office, medical personnel and administrator are all easy to contact; and they're responsive to my inquiries and requests. In my experience I've found all the staff to be caring and hard working. The level of care is not only excellent but is provided with kindness, compassion and respect. My family and I are grateful for everything that the staff at BK does to keep my sister safe, happy and healthy. My sister often states that “I love living at BK and I hope that I can live here for the remainder of my life”. Beaven Kelly is not just a residential care facility, it is her home!

My older sister has called Beaven Kelly her home for about the past 12 or so years. She has had wonderful and compassionate care the entire time. She talks enthusiastically about the staff, the food and her comfortable room. Myself and the rest of my family are incredibly thankful that she has been able to have such a safe, compassionate place to call her home all these years. They have taken exceptionally care of all the residents there during our current pandemic situation that I will never be able to thank them enough for. I would highly recommend this facility and easily give them a 5 star review, they have certainly earned it!

I live at Bevan Kelly Rest Home For almost 5 years. So far my experience been positive, They give you a lot of freedom, You’re able to go leave whenever you want. Most of the staff are really pleasant to you, And if you have a problem I feel safe to go to Heather ( The business coordinator) she usually has a answer Within 24 hours. They’re real nice when it comes to family members too. I like it here because we’re right on the bus line. And we’re 10 min away from the mallLori the administrator Was really good during the ongoing covid pandemic she locked us down and made us feel safe I highly recommend living here because they give you a lot of freedom to come and go The nursing staff and housekeeping are really nice to us. So I recommend anyone who bring their love ones to live with us there in good hands. Lori the administrator makes us feel welcome and she always have a smile on her face and makes us feel welcome here
