Ok, I got discharged from the hospital Thursday afternoon and no one came to give me all my meds. Friday she finally came out, we spoke briefly and I said I usually get at least 9 nursing visits per week. Physical therapy and occupational therapy was supposed to start Friday. The nurse that has been coming out came the morning put my meds on my bed, felt the leg and said I don't know who's coming tomorrow, it's not going to be me. I'm diabetic and it's urgent I take my blood sugar, insulin and other medications. I was asleep when she came and then I remained drowsy until about 12:00. The nurse that came out Friday, Saturday and Sunday was the same and she had no clue as to when therapy was going to start. Not a good company and that's only 3 days of visiting.

Let me start off by saying the staff that they've sent me, when they actually send them, have been absolutely wonderful. The problem is the lack of follow through by management. My care plan includes a morning and night shifts 7 days/week. I've gone weeks without weekend morning coverage, over a week without any night coverage. There have been days I've been stuck sitting in urine for 24 hours just waiting for them to send me someone. There is never anyone available to cover callouts which was promised too. There communication is severely lacking. One staff actually told me they don't like to call clients if it's bad news, which of course when it's most important for us to know.
