My sister Kate went into Hospice and was transfered to this facility this past week. Honestly, can't say enough about the care and compassion the staff had with my sister and my family. They were always there when we needed anything and treated us like family.My sister got the most incredible care you could ask for. The nurses werd right on it when we needed them. The staff handled her with care and compassion. They had danish & refreshments to help get through the hours that we spent there. The day she passed after our goodbyes, we all waited outside of the room in the hallway And all the employees lined up alongside of my family and i and waited for the funeral home to take her from the room and wheel her outside to their vehicle and they walked along with us through the hallway to exit the building, sharing their condolences and hugs. It was like a military honor of sort for my sister Kate. These folks defenetly are in the right jobs because they truly do the jobs their qualified for. I watched in the past days how they handle the clients and they were just awesome. Always friendly and concerned.i can tell you ive never seen anything so amazing. Just have to say that we experienced Bayberry Commons this past week. Our family member was transferred over to their Hospice wing with the most incredible staff I can say I’ve ever experienced. Not just to our loved one Kate but to our whole family and friends. I’ve worked in the health care system for a few years. This I can tell you was one of the best! There wasn’t a person we reached out to that wasn’t courteous and stepped over backwards to help . They even set up pastries and coffee / water and juice for the family. It was one of the finest feelings of compassion I’ve seen. Unfortunately our Kate passed away but this totally blew our minds! They stood lined up along both walls of the hall awaiting for the funeral home to wheel her out of the room as in a military honors and followed us to the exit of the facility. Then greeted with condolences and hugs from all that we encountered. Their Hospice team couldn’t have been better. Our family members and friends will never forget their actions and totally understand how they won best in RI . Thank you again from the Readon and extended family and friends your in the position you are because you care about what you do and who you do it for! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ! 🥰 ❤️🙏🏼

A Truly Wonderful Place<br><br>⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐<br><br>I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bayberry Commons and the incredible staff who cared for my mom during her final days.<br><br>From the moment she arrived, the staff treated her with compassion, dignity, and genuine kindness. The facility itself is beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming, but it was the people who truly made the difference.<br><br>When my mom was taking her final breaths, the staff were there for her—and for all of us. They made sure she was comfortable and that our family was supported and cared for during one of the most heartbreaking moments of our lives. Their compassion and presence meant more to us than they will ever know.<br><br>Hospice and end-of-life care is an incredibly difficult journey for a family, and I will always be grateful that my mom spent her final days surrounded by people who treated her with such warmth and respect.<br><br>Five stars without hesitation. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bayberry Commons to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be cared for with compassion, dignity, and kindness. ❤️

My sister Kathryn G, was there for end of life care, that only is an extremely difficult time, I flew in from FL where we have an abundance of nursing homes many of my friends are nursing home administrators, nurses, home health and hospice providers. I have spent the last 26 years in hospital administration. I can unequivocally tell you Bayberry is the five star standard for patient care, compassion and devoted individuals from Mario in maintenance to Ronnie in scheduling to Jenna Administrator. There, countless nurses, CNA’s housekeeping and beyond, who were absolutely amazing individuals. Our family cannot thank you enough for helping us, my sister passed with respect.and most of all love. The staff at Bayberry not only took care of their patient, they took care of us as a family. Awesome audience, beautiful building and super staff for our 8/7/26 Musical Ventriloquist Comedy performance today. Jen and Jessica with ACTIVITIES were especially helpful. Our 40" ventriloquist puppet sang "We are here in Bayberry Commons and we say thank you". After our Tennis Ball puppet sang our version of "Happy Happy Birthday", everyone joined in singing the traditional "Happy Birthday" to the resident who will celebrate his birthday this month. We especially want to thank the resident Steve who volunteered to be our HUMAN DUMMY, wear our ventriloquist face mask, and help us sing our "No Bully Zone" with Chelsea The Chimpanzee (No, they did not both sing at the same time... we're not that good!)
