I can not say enough praises for this facility. It truly is a hidden gem. I am a tough sell as a medical professional.<br>My Dad is there now and the care that he receives is top notch. The staff is caring, kind, gentle, attentive and compassionate. Everyday there are so many activities for the residents . The facility is amazingly clean and never ever smells. The residents are always smiling and clean. It is quiet and conducive to healing. It is so amazing I have to give them a 5 star. Even the food is amazing. Thank you for the amazing love and care that you are showing to my Dad and us as a family 💜

West Shore has such dedicated staff who work so hard to care for residents. CNAs, RNs, activities, social workers, pts, ots, front desk, maintenance, dietary, finance and administrators all go beyond expectations to provide needed care plus the extra quality-of- life activities that contribute to better mental health. Too many individuals to name, but just know how much genuine concern, patience and good humor these folks bring to their work, even when your family member is very challenging to care for.

I find the staff warm and friendly. The facility is kept very clean. They offer many extras like laundry, salon services and nails 3 times a week.also plenty of activities. The food is good on the whole with a few exceptions. They need better choices for diabetics.

West Shore HC is home to my 102 y.o. aunt. She actually loves it here and was pointing out to me one of the activities staff and calling her "just the best teacher." I wheeled her over to the table and my aunt got to paint some little wooden christmas tree ornaments, making her quite happy. Every time I visit, she tells me how she loves living there. The space is bright and cheerful, the staff is always friendly and they accommodate things like having our family members wheel her outside in good weather. So she can sit under the trees and enjoy the gardens. I also had a friend who suffered a traumatic femur, fracture and was admitted there for rehabilitation. She told me rehab was vigorous, they wouldn't let her quit and the end result was she made a remarkable physical recovery. I have only good things to say about West Shore Health Center.
