I worked privately, along with 2 other women caring for an elderly man who lived alone. For years the 3 of us were able to cover all his needs. But after his 3rd fall it was clear he needed more hrs of care. His family was reluctant to place him in a nursing home. Instead, they did an extensive search and multiple interviews with agencies, before hiring Trusted Like Family. Mike and his staff are excellent! Anytime there was a need or a change, Mike would personally come out to the house and take time to determine exactly what was needed. We could call or even text him as needs changed. We always recieved a call or text back promptly. The caretakers were excellent. Denise and Paulina went beyond our highest expectations. After years of in home care, this guy finally went into a good nursing home. Our original in home private workers visit him on a weekly basis. Denise, from Trusted Like Family has even stopped in for a visit, to bring him a favorite treat. I think the name of the agency says it all. I am so glad his family took the time to do an extensive search to find this agency.
