Thank you for the respite care. This is my third time taking my dad here. Both nurses I encountered were very helpful. One was Zoe and the other ? Jennifer, not sure if this is her name, she has curly hair and glasses. Pam in administration is always kind.

We were extremely impressed with the care and attentiveness Vista provided for our loved one. Actually surprised they do not have a higher rating. Pam was so compassionate and professional in helping with admission. What’s also impressive is the nursing staff has been with the facility for YEARS, not a lot of turnover that you see with other facilities. Teresa was instrumental in our sister’s care and she’s been there for over 20 years. The facility is clean and gives off an assisted living vibe. Unfortunately my sister succumbed to her health issues and was not here for very long. We wish we had sent her here first. She might still be with us if we had. THANK YOU VISTA FOR TAKING SUCH GREAT CARE OF HER. WE WILL NOT FORGET IT.

I originally chose this place because a friend of mine had her mother in there, and posted a really good review. And that They were VA approved. Most of the staff and the admins have been there for quite a while. Not having a high turnover was Definitely a plus . We were in a time sensitive situation. My bedbound husband, who had multiple diseases and complicated issues, needed care so I could have a much needed surgery that I could no longer put off. I couldn’t have asked for more compassionate and loving care for my Eddie. His Vista Doctor, Nurses and Aides , were Personable, Cheerful, Positive and Caring, to us both, While he was in their care. They were also good with him, joking and laughing, and keeping things light in his condition . That was everything to him and I. During this, and the recovery time after my surgery, they were patient with me calling, To check on him, And gave me really good detailed information to ease my mind. And they did Not ever make me feel Like I was bothering them With my questions . We also had Heart To heart Hospice, caring for him. They worked as a wonderful team to give him the best care possible. They And their staff , very compassionately, kept him, bathed, shaved, hair cut, taken care of. They made what was a very difficult time in our lives easier for us to bear. You couldn’t ask for anymore than That. They All went above and beyond. 💙🩵

On very short notice I desperately needed to find a nursing home that would provide high quality nursing/ hospice care for my Dad. I live out of state so online research was discouraging (one nursing home didn’t answer the phone on weekends!) Vista got better reviews and a higher Medicare rating and I feel so fortunate they had an opening. So far our family has been pleased with the cleanliness of the facility, the care provided by nursing staff and the communication from administrators, nurses and hospice staff. Please be aware that nursing homes are not allowed to use full length bed rails so there are half length rails & some patients can make their way around them (my Dad did and did fall ) but there are mats on the floor and bed alarms so nurses can come to the patient immediately.

When looking for a nursing home I wanted my Mom in a beautiful place and I put her at Rolling Brook in Baytown and The building was beautiful but the compassion was definitely lacking. I was asked to pick my mother up the second day she was there. I had to find a place quickly and it had to be a locked facility. Vista had that and took my Mother the next day. The building is old and not what I had envisioned for my beautiful Mom but the care she received was wonderful. Pam, Ken and all their staff were so compassionate and caring. My mom loved all the people and the few times I took her out, she was ready to go back. My mom passed away on May 23rd and I can't thank the staff enough for all the compassion and support they showed our entire family! I learned it's not about the beautiful building, it's the beautiful people that matter. I gave them 5 stars for the care they give their patients.
