It is 8pm on Sunday. I just got a call from my husband that he finally got his dinner tray. It was a dry turkey sandwich, lukewarm veggie soup, a little bag of old, tasteless cookies and lukewarm lemonade. His meals have been disappointing like this all week. He is at this facility for rehab after knee replacement surgery. The therapists are first rate and that's why we requested LSCC. But if he can't get a nutritious meal 3 times a day to build his strength, he will not have a good therapy experience and that is not acceptable. Is he getting sorry meals because Medicare is paying for stay?

My mother was a patient/resident for over a year. The care was mostly adequate. She passed away in October of 2024. I had paid for the month in advance and am owed a refund of over $5,000. Their business manager has been telling me for months that the refund will be paid anytime now. They do not dispute that it is owed. Three months later they still haven't paid me and it looks like I will have to take legal action.

I would like to update my review. Much of the statement still applies…however…I am not happy with the progress the Administration has made over the last year! It seems to me that the Owner of this facility is more concerned with the esthetics of the place than he is the Care of Patients. The staffing is substantially insufficient for the number of residents. The nurses are awesome but completely outnumbered. The Administration turn-over is so disappointing. I don’t believe they have had the same Manager, Director of Nurses or Social Worker for 6 months straight since it opened. They really need to get it together before they get into trouble. ( Rehab Dept is Awesome & short term care seems to be good, it’s the permanent residents that are suffering from this inadequacy.) This is a beautiful facility with a first rate rehabilitation staff! The nursing care is improving greatly. My mother is treated with great respect and the staff is very friendly. Admittedly, they are having difficulties in some areas due to staffing and turn-over. However, the new administrator and new DON hope to make the needed improvements to bring this home for our family members up to the standards we expect as quickly as possible! Please be in prayer for the Patients as they work through these obstacles. Just remember…”Rome wasn’t built in a day.” 🙏🏼💜🙏🏼

Beautiful facility with plenty of attendants. Shey, the activities director, is doing an outstanding job. She is patient, joyful, and gentle as she gives the residents some fun diversions.
