My family member was there and this place was terrible. He went in there relatively healthy and he went down hill very quickly. He contracted CDIff in the nursing facility and they did not know how to handle the situation. He came very close to passing away. There was a sign that he was contagious on the door and to wear a gown. Their own staff
would not wear gowns.
We bought him a lot of new clothes and most of it was lost. They have a laundry facility and the clothes are piled up to the ceiling with no system.
Contaminated clothes mixed with clean clothes.
We were fortunate to get him out of there. We moved him to Bartlett and it’s a wonderful facility.
Bartlett Skilled nursing is so much better. Don’t go to Avir.

Thank you so much, Avir, and the entire wonderful staff for the care you provided to my father. Your compassion, respect, and dedication meant more to us than words can express. You treated him with genuine kindness, and in the process, you all truly became like family to me.

We have decided to move to this facility as they take New Mexico Medicaid it enhances to have her in the city we were we went to the one in New Mexico and I had to go talk to maintenance cuz it was a metal plate on the floor that could have hurt the person in memory care they said that they notified administration's multiple times and they've never come and fixed it so I went and I had a discussion with the maintenance man and I told him I was reporting him to OSHA and he came and fixed it but it's bad there they only shower the elderly and memory care unit once a week they neglect them it's bad I took a bunch of pictures but this place on the west side is wonderful it's clean it's spacious they were really helpful Miss Ayala was very helpful and Crystal to get the paperwork started so we're going to have her here in Texas praise God it was very clean the clients were happy these are somebody's mom's somebody's wives somebody's sisters somebody's family member and they showed more care they showed more concern

Avir is an instant 5 stars in my book. I've never seen such a clean nursing home, the staff treats you like family, they are helpful and kind. And above all the residents look happy and clean. Thank you Avir for helping me with my decision to keep my mom there, I trust she is being taken care of like our loved ones should.
