My Mom stayed here for over 3 years. The place is really nice and the staff is amazing. She really enjoyed her time here and made friends easily. They are very attentive and patient with everyone. I visited 3-4 days a week sometimes more and anytime I had questions or concerns they were always addressed professionally.

Our mother has been there for about four months and we feel that she is taken good care of ! staff is Very kind/Compassionate & the administration is very accommodating .<br>They just hired a new activities director and he is Very Interactive/compassionate with the residents..so they don’t get bored ..<br>place is clean and beautiful.!

The team at Autumn Leaves takes amazing care of my Mother. The staff is always kind, attentive, and professional, and the facility is clean, well organized, and welcoming. It truly feels like a home away from home.<br><br>I especially want to recognize Peace Igbinovia, the Executive Director. She is compassionate, professional, and deeply committed to her residents. Peace goes above and beyond to ensure everyone receives quality care and that families stay informed and comfortable. Her leadership, empathy, and dedication make a real difference every day. Knowing my Mother is under the care of Mrs Igbinovia and her wonderful team gives me complete peace of mind. I’m very thankful for everything they do and highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place that truly cares for its residents.

My Family has been using autumn Leaves of Orland park for Years. My Dad was there for a year before he passed. My mom was the next person to live there. I moved my cousin in 7 years ago. She is doing great. She gets her meds, showers. and is well fed. Peace is doing a Fantastic job running the facility she get back to me when I call and notifies me of any issues. Many of staff has been there for years, which is a good thing to consider if your thinking of putting a loved one here. Whenever I stop by, the atmosphere is friendly, upbeat, and low stress . I never hear patients screaming.<br>This is the type of place a memory care facility needs to be.

Our family’s experience with Autumn Leaves was devastating. On most visits, we witnessed our elderly mother in an unconscious state nearly 80% of the time. Nurses routinely dismissed this, saying she was simply “tired.” In reality, she was being administered PRN medications without our consent, leaving her heavily sedated. They have refused to release her medical records with his a violation of the state of Illinois law.<br><br>During a surprise visit at 10 p.m., we found her in such poor condition that she had to be rushed to the hospital, where she remained for seven consecutive days. Not once did we receive a call from Peace Igbinovia ,, the Executive Director/Director of Nursing, during this crisis. Family concerns were consistently ignored, and promised care services were never delivered.<br><br>The facility is grossly understaffed, and the competence level of the nursing staff is dangerously insufficient. Integrity — or rather, the lack of it — is evident and was even openly acknowledged by the Executive Director aas she noted that several of her nurses were dishonest and unethical, yet she refused to hold them accountable. .<br><br>Medical professionals urged us to remove her immediately and seek alternative care. We did, and she is now thriving and receiving excellent, compassionate care elsewhere. Families deserve honesty and safety — Autumn Leaves, under its current leadership, provided neither. If you care…you will look elsewhere. Your loved one deserves better.
