I've had so much fun living here at the Courtyards! They give us plenty to do, whether it is trips out or just activities planned in-house. Our most recent evening party was "Senior Prom" themed. I never got to attend my own prom but this really made up for it. I even got crowned prom queen! The people are lovely, staff if helpful, events are fun, definitely a great place to be at!

I love my home! Being able to have a place like this when I've gotten older is the best! I can't imagine ever leaving or being somewhere else, I've found my place!

Aston Gardens at the Courtyards has everything a retired person could want. I have a lovely apartment at independent living. The food is great and there are many activities and outings to enjoy. Most of all there is the staff that cares and supports its residents every day of the week. I couldn't ask for more at this time in my life. Rosemarie K.

Having lived here for 3 1/2 years now, I am still very happy with my decision to move into this Independent Living community. The physical appearance of the buildings is very homey because they are only 2 stories high and are surrounded by big beautiful oak trees and lovely landscaping. Everything is very well maintained.<br><br>The location is extremely convenient to stores, doctors' offices, a wonderful hospital, banks, and almost anything else a person would need for daily living. While I still have my own car, Aston Gardens at the Courtyards offers regular transportation services to all of the locations mentioned above plus for special trips out of the immediate area.<br><br>There are activities available for a variety of different interests, from parties to crafts, exercise classes, games, movies, sing-alongs, field trips, and educational offerings to name just a few. The people responsible for these activities work hard to keep them fresh and in line with what the residents want and like.<br><br>Anywhere you live, food is a very important part of life and the meals here are quite excellent. Everyone I have invited to eat here has been very impressed with the quality and variety of the food served in our lovely dining room. Mealtime also offers a chance to socialize and meet new friends. The casual atmosphere here is one of the things that really appeals to me.<br><br>Assisted Living and Memory Care are also a part of this community, right on the grounds within walking distance of the Independent Living apartments. My sister ended up needing to live in that building, and I will be forever grateful that she was so close by and easy to see regularly.<br><br>The residents here are quite friendly and caring of each other. It really does feel like a big extended family. And the people who work here in their many different capacities truly seem to be happy to help and serve us. Thank goodness some of them are young enough to help us with the world of technology!<br><br>Life here has been pleasant and interesting as well as safe and rewarding, and I hope to spend the rest of my life here - just as some of our longtime residents have managed to do.

My wife and I have lived here 3+ years and are very happy with the meals, management, maintenance and service we we are receiving. It's so nice not to have to worry about taking care of house problems, lawn maintenance, HOA fees, home insurance, meals, etc. The residents here are very friendly and helpful. There are more than enough games and activities to keep you busy. I highly recommend this Independent Living Facility to everyone.
