This place was a Godsend for our father. Being confined to a wheel chair it was not easy to take care of him. The staff at Angel Lite would go Above and Beyond to make sure he was always cared for. They tried very hard to help reduce the over prescribed medications to reasonable levels where we could actually have a conversation again. When our father passed away the staff was very helpful in allowing us time to be with him in his final hours. The staff even took the time to visit our family at the funeral. I can say without doubt this was the place my father wanted to spend his last days. The Grandchildren would come in every night to tell him goodnight, this was the highlight of his day.

This place is not set up for ambulatory care and it doubles as a day care for their grandchildren who are loud and often unruly. Patients confined to wheel chairs or are content to watch t.v. all day on a sofa do well and they do allow pets. Ambulatory patients however, suffer through long days with no activities and no supervision and are allowed to wander the grounds without any guidance or direction leading to injury and loss of personal items as patients were not monitored when outside. This facility also practices the use of sleep inducing meds, over the counter and prescribed to keep ambulatory patients as quiet as possible so that they need less direction and supervision. The facility is clean and allow residents to bring pets but if you have a loved one who is ambulatory and needs memory care along with help with daily needs such as feeding, dressing etc: this is NOT the place for your loved one.
