My mother-in-law was admitted to OHPAC in November for care after she broke her hip. The staff were very sweet, and Physical Therapy was excellent!

I try to call my grandma everyday so she doesn't feel alone. I live all the way in Wyoming. Each day I have problems with people even answering the phone. Then when they do I still get no where most times. I'm told I'll be transferred but the phone goes silent and I get nothing. Mabye these people don't have loved ones in long term care facilities that is why they don't care to help. I call her because there are also times she puts he call light on and an hour later it hasn't been answered. If they don't want to be bothered to give a resident the phone then mabye phones should be put in each room so then loved ones would be able to get ahold of the people in the room. This makes me feel like the reviews I read before writing this are true about this place. I working in a long term facility for over 6 years and phone calls and contact with the outside world mines so much to people who have most times lost there whole life they had before. My Grandma and all the other residents and patients deserve so much better. I'm going to be going up the chain of command for California because this is just unexceptable. The workers act like your cutting the arm off when they are asked to bring a phone to someone.

The staff at the Oroville hospital Post Acute Center is excellent. I would like to thank the guys in the physical therapy department that helped me so much. The whole staff does the best they can considering everything that's been going on and all the restrictions. The rooms are a bit crowded with two people in a room. The food could use a lot of improvement by adding fresh fruit to the menu everyday and a bigger variety on the menu.

The staff gave my Mom alot of attention to make sure she was clean. She liked the food. The nurses took s personal interest in my Mom health and well being. Also found communication with her nurses was excellent. I had peace of mind and felt secure that i knew what was going on, since we live out of the area and i could not be there regularly. Would definitely recommend this home for my loved ones.
