A beautifully renovated historic building, nestled on a scenic plot with great walking paths. The residents always seem happy and well cared for when I've visited.

My family cant say enough good things about American House. Our father was very resistant to going to an assisted living home but this facility won him over. The building has historic charm and beauty and feels uplifting to be in, unlike many other dark and dreary homes we toured. There is a large dining area, social happy hour, puzzle room, theater and more. The resident rooms are spacious and in immaculate condition. All of that is great but the staff is really what gave us peace of mind. From the RNs and LNAs to the front desk receptionist and housekeepers, the staff are caring, accommodating, and attentive. They communicated with us constantly and were always happy to answer our questions. No request was too small or too inconvenient, they were there to help. We have met many residents who have been living here for many years and they all spoke so highly about how much they enjoyed living there. Thank you to EVERYONE for making American House a HOME for us.

Since arriving at American House in February 2025, we have been very pleased with the experience of this friendly community. The staff, from meal servers to the executive director are always there to help. They provide transportation, which is very helpful and entertainment which brings residents together.<br>Bill & Linda Fahey
