I did rehab at this facility & I was 100% impressed. I received physical fitness & occupational therapy separately daily sometimes twice & they really worked me. The aids were fantastic. Remember, they are the daily contact people there. Their attitude makes the stay good, great, or terrible. They were mostly pleasant with no complaints. Even the nurses tried to stay compliant with the distribution. Again, I can’t say enough about the excellence of this place & I have had some terrible experiences of late. Go, it will be worth your stay. Gerry Ringle

My experience with Altercare Newark North has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were met with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. The entire staff is attentive and compassionate, providing top-notch care and support to both residents and their families. A special thank you to the Admissions Coordinator, Madison, who made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind—taking the time to answer all our questions and guide us through every step with empathy and clarity. Her dedication truly stood out and set the tone for our entire experience. Highly recommend Altercare Newark North to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility where your loved one will be treated with dignity, respect, and exceptional care.
