From the initial moment my family member and I considered Addison Place, the entire process was seamless and reassuring. The facility tour gave a comprehensive insight into the compassionate care and supportive community that is provided. The admissions process was efficient and the financial requirements was thoroughly explained. All the Addison Place Staff make a concerted effort with the Resident’s transition so they are comfortable in this new environment. Their attentive, personalized care and empathetic approach has fostered a smooth adjustment for my family member. And, it is a relief knowing she is content and thriving in this engaging community.

Always welcoming, helpful, and supportive of my parent and our family. They're here for you when you need them, they're a call or text or email away, and they are extremely helpful during the transition to living there. The building is older but still kept quite clean and nice looking, and the staff is all wonderful. Shout out to the amazing nursing and front desk staff - your hard work is noticed and appreciated!!

Our dad moved into Addison Place October, 2024. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in March, 2024. My sister and I wish that he could have been convinced to move there sooner. The facility is beautiful. Dad's apartment was fantastic. Everyone who works there is wonderful. Unfortunately, Dad only had four months at Addison. When he was still in good shape he made some friends. He enjoyed going to the dining room, which really feels like a restaurant. The food is great. I have to say that everyone at Addison treated me and my sister as family, and they were totally attentive to our dad. At the end, Dad had hospice care and 24-hour aides, and the staff at Addison coordinated wonderfully with everybody. My sister and I will be forever grateful to everybody at Addison Place for everything they for Dad and for us.

After searching and visiting various memory care facilities for our mom, we decided on Addison Place in Glastonbury, CT. Now, after 2 months of high quality care we can certainly say that we made the best choice for her. She is very happy and thriving. The staff is extremely caring and delightful. We visit often, always unannounced, and we always find mom dressed and engaged in activities. Recently we made arrangements to have lunch with mom and 6 family members. We were directed to a lovely private room where we could leisurely visit while enjoying the daily menu choices. Everyone was so pleased and commented on the beautiful facility. Obviously, a Memory Care facility will have older residents in various states of mental and physical decline. But we've been delighted to see them so often smiling, and always well cared for and engaged in activities as suitable for their specific conditions. We will continue to visit often and fully expect that Addison Place will continue with the exemplary care that we have been witnessing.
