My grandmother was moved here for hospice care, and my mother-in-law and I were there for her arrival and came back a few days to see how she was doing. The facility is clean and the staff is so kind and caring. After getting settled and getting to know the staff my grandmother told us she liked them. I really appreciate all the work they put into caring for the residents and helping them feel comfortable! They are amazing!!!

What really makes this place special is the staff - and the administrators of the home, Herbert & Michelle. My mother was transferred from another memory care facility and A Peace of Home made it a seamless transition. The staff takes care of all of her needs and are very attentive. Everyone treats her like she is family and it shows. She is very relaxed and any anxiety that she felt regarding the move and her new living situation has evaporated. The just-like-home atmosphere has been perfect for her - she is sleeping well, taking her medications regularly and is overall very healthy. 5-Stars, highly recommended!

My mother has been living at A Peace of Home for over 2.5 years. I am a RN and feel comfortable leaving my mom in their care. The owners Mischell and Herbert are easy to reach if I have any questions or concerns. All the caregivers seem to be very caring and listen to any requests I may have. I visit at least once a week and the home is always clean and the residents look well cared for. I’m very happy that I was referred to A Peace of Home. My mother is much happier here than the horrible rehab facility she was in before. Several home health caregivers that visited my mom over the years told me that this home is a “very good” one.

We felt truly blessed to have been referred to A Peace of Home. On our initial visit we were very impressed. When we first met Mischelle (one of the administrators) on our initial visit, she was very warm, respectful and very knowledgeable. This is a very caring, family owned and oriented board and care facility. They are a close knit family that treats your loved one the way they treat each other. They are very organized and attentive to your loved ones. It is very peaceful, clean, calm and open (airy). It is also light and cheerful and climate controlled. My loved one was released from a skilled nursing facility and my fears were immediately allied as to the care he would receive. There are currently three registered nurses in the family. What a sense of comfort. I come to visit daily, but I don’t worry about my loved one. They take excellent care of him. They keep him clean, comfortable and well fed. They communicate well if there is any concerns and they keep you updated on how your loved one is doing. All of them are all very kind and respectful. I am happy my loved ones is in such good hands. They take caring very serious. It is a nice safe place with loving people that live and work there. I highly recommend A Peace of Home.

I have had my family member here for 16 months. He was at a board and care for 2 months before he came here. I had to move him when I found out what was going on at that board and care in Thousand Oaks. The caregivers here have been wonderful. To begin with I came everyday. I found it to be a place where I don’t have to be here that often. I trust them. They are very respectful of all the clients and visitors. I feel lucky to have found A Peace of Home for my loved one.
