Not only is Ginny Arroyo hilarious but she also has an incredible ability to recognize opportunities that others might completely miss. When we first met and discussed Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), Ginny immediately recognized the value of preparing her caregiving team to better understand and support this growing patient population. While many organizations may not yet realize the need, increasing awareness and diagnosis rates make specialized knowledge more important than ever. Most people would have overlooked the opportunity entirely. Ginny saw it immediately. She understood that families living with EDS and related conditions often face unique challenges that can impact daily living, mobility, safety, chronic pain management, dysautonomia, fatigue, and overall quality of life. She recognized that educating caregivers before the need became obvious would position her team to provide a higher level of support and better outcomes for the families they serve. Rather than waiting for someone else to address the gap, Ginny took action. Together, we developed and launched the first-ever Ehlers-Danlos syndrome training program specifically designed for professional in-home caregivers. Through this groundbreaking initiative, the first 16 caregivers in history were trained and certified to better understand and support the unique needs of individuals living with EDS in the home care setting. What impressed me most was Ginny’s vision, enthusiasm, and willingness to innovate. She didn’t wait for a trend. She saw an emerging need and stepped forward to help meet it. Ginny is energetic, compassionate, forward-thinking, and deeply committed to excellence in care. I am grateful for our partnership and proud of what we accomplished together. The impact of this pioneering program will extend far beyond those first 16 caregivers, helping to shape the future of home care for individuals living with EDS and related conditions.

We've worked with many veterans over the years and are always looking for reputable resources to help support them. When we reached out, Sarah was quick to respond and went above and beyond in providing information and resources available to veterans. Even though we weren't looking for services for ourselves, she took the time to educate us and help us better serve those we work with. That level of professionalism and genuine care speaks volumes about both Sarah and the organization she represents. Thank you for your time, knowledge, and commitment to helping veterans and their families. We truly appreciate it.

Home helpers has been so thorough. I enjoy working with Ginny as she is meticulous in handling the placement and services for my mom. She answered all my questions and alleviated my concerns. She was helpful with VA benefits and really knows and understands both from my mom’s perspective and mine.

Every single person that we have interacted with with Home Helpers has been 100% professional but also 100% kind and compassionate and caring and bend over backwards to help in any way possible. They really truly care about your loved one and treat them as if they are their own family member. We have had the same caretaker for a year, Carol Ball, she really treats my parents as if they are her own family member. She is very proactive in addressing needs of my parents and is excellent at communicating with the rest of the family. She is very loving and great at helping around the house and running errands. Could not recommend this company more!

First rate. It's not easy to find home care help on short notice, with agencies that do not handle the insurance, unknown helpers, etc. I am grateful to the agency that referred me to Home Helpers. I am especially grateful for the perfect aide with whom we were paired. MJ has been a blessing. She's handled the care of my husband's recovery taking over the aspects that I didn't want. She cooks, launders and cleans. I walk into a well-run household. Oh gosh! I am going to miss her!
