“Claire, Cindy, Sam and their staff are exceptional! They have a compassionate and caring staff. Their goal is to make their residents comfortable and happy in a home like atmosphere. “The staff at Autumn Springs did a wonderful job caring for my aunt. They were a great partner in assisting our family with her.”
“This is a wonderful place for your loved ones. It is just small enough that everyone has people you care about hem and make sure they have all the love and care they need. How families pay for senior living in Montana
Most Montana families start by paying privately, often drawing on savings, retirement income, and frequently the proceeds from selling a home. Long-term care insurance, when a parent has kept a policy, can also help cover assisted living or memory care costs, though coverage details vary by policy and are worth reviewing early. Veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for VA Aid and Attendance, a benefit that can be applied toward the cost of assisted living or memory care, and it's worth asking a VA representative whether a particular situation meets the requirements.

About these figures
Computed on October 21, 2026 from the 35 communities listed in Billings, 853 public family reviews on Google, Yelp and MyLivingChoice, state licensing records and, for nursing homes, CMS Care Compare. The best-rated list ranks communities by average family rating weighted by how many families have reviewed each one, so a 4.9 from three reviews does not outrank a 4.7 from two hundred. No community pays to appear in the best-rated list or in these figures; sponsored and partner listings in the directory results are marked as such. Figures refresh as listings and reviews change; the written summary was last revised September 25, 2026.
