Mom had been at Mission Ridge for about 4 years, her health was slowly declining, and she was withdrawing from activity and rarely leaving her apartment. She had a couple of health issues that required some hospital stays, and during that time my sister and I had discussions with Lisa and Connie regarding if it was time to move her to the Vista so she could have a little more assistance. They gave us wonderful advice and information to help us make the decision for the move. Of course, Mom was not pleased at first when we told her, but after she got over there her first day she was like "I think I am going to like it over here." She has been in the Vista for about a month now, all aspects of her daily living have improved, health, mobility, and her happiness. She has a daily routine now that gets her up and gets her going, so she has things to look forward to, she is eating a more healthy and balanced diet. She has friends that watch out for her and her them. Can not say enough good things about the Vista or Mission Ridge!
