I’ve been here since April, and since then, I have been given five star treatment everybody has been wonderful from the admissions all the way through. From the nurses to the CNA‘s and my admissions staff who was Miriam took care of me from the very beginning. she gave me a warm blanket and a teddy bear and checked on me always. Steve checked on me daily to make sure that I was OK. my nurses made sure that I had my medication and that I was feeling comfortable. Yamato is top notch for rehab and even for long term care on the second floor for mom or dad. Trust me, I have seen the other places and you want to be here not anywhere else. They have incredible activities like bingo all the time. The bingo is very easy to read so anybody that has a hard time reading has no problem with that plus they have other activities in here so you’re not bored and the Activity ladies Monica, Evelyn and Bibe know what they are talking about. They make sure that you do it right so you have activities unlike other places where you just sit in bed and do nothing. Thank you peggy for bringing us out every for fresh air and for supplies. It was wonderful time being here!

This place is clean and has a warm feeling when you enter. The staff are engaged and acknowledges you when you come by the nurses station and they accommodate all your questions. A lot of staff rounding and attending to the patients. They seem to be very attentive to their patients. The staff look happy and the residents look like well cared for.

I’d rate my experience a solid 7–8 out of 10. Overall, there’s a real sense of camaraderie among the staff, and you can tell that most of the staff genuinely care.the people. Don was especially encouraging during a time when I was feeling down, and that made a real difference. Sandy, the occupational therapist, has a lot of insight and took the time to help me better understand what I needed. Niecha was wonderful to work with as well. Melissa goes out of her way to help more than most people would, and she’s incredibly affable—always warm, friendly, and approachable. Jesse is an absolute doll. She seems to knows every patient and their family members, which makes the environment feel very personal and welcoming. Nahum is great too—he’s on the ball and stays on top of things. I would recommend Yamato to a friend!
