About Woodside Lutheran Home

Woodside Senior Communities, the corporate name for Bay Area Lutheran Homes, Inc., is a non-profit provider of health care and housing services for adults age 55 and older in the greater Green Bay area. The organization has been serving the community for more than 50 years and operates in a faith-based environment where residents, families, employees, and health care partners are treated with respect.

The campus is situated on 18 park-like acres in the heart of Ashwaubenon. It offers a full continuum of care, including skilled nursing and rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, and memory care services.

For those seeking independent living, the campus includes an independent senior living apartment complex for adults 55 and older, as well as an income-based independent senior living apartment complex for those age 62 and older.

As a full continuum provider, Woodside is designed so that residents can transition between levels of care—from independent living to skilled nursing or memory care—without having to leave the campus, allowing needs to be met as they change over time.

Went here to see family recovering from a fall. The staff are friendly and look after everyone nicely. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are great.

Do not go there. The call lights were broken the bathrooms had mold on t he floor they lock the doors and do not let you out side even though it surround by cement wall. I cried when i first got there. A roommate stole my credit card i had to call the police and was told that it wasnt good for them. It was a new epsode every day. Then they were going to let me go when i couldnt walk so i made a fuss and applied for medicate. They were going to through me at first then they wont let me go. They werent going to let me go home on the day i was told. I had to be discharge by doctor thank goodness he came along when i was making a fuss about not going home. Then they never submitted a bill to medicate unstead they billed me over 1 000 dollars. I was there for rehab.. My next door neighbor warned me that it was awful when i came. The only reason i went back to see her now that she passed on i will never step foot in that hell hole.

Mom was at Woodside for rehab following a fall broke part of her pelvis. The day staff was pretty good and Mom was close to leaving. If someone is considering this place beware of the night staff. I feel like they don't care. One night Mom was not given her call button and had to use the restroom. She called out verbally for help but was left to soil herself and the bed having to lay in it until morning. The second incident she was being assisted to the bathroom with a belt around her. She stumbled and fell to both knees not being caught by the assistant. Two days later at the hospital, she was diagnosed with two broken legs. I share this to communicate our loss of confidence in Woodside Rehab.

I had my 90 year old mother at Woodside for about a month. She is still recovering from several fractures. It is an excellent place! Myself or my wife were there every day but one so we observed it in person the whole time she was there. I am taking her there for outpatient therapy as it is excellent. I have had PT and OT myself at several places, several times. I will go there myself if there is a next time for me. The staff is professional and they do not share information about their patients to people that are not allowed the information, even relatives! The Rehab Social Worker was awesome. A huge help like all the rest of the staff even the cleaning folks. I had many meals there with my mother and the food was decent.
