I was blown away by this place. All of the residents seemed to have joy, and interact with each other and the nurses, the nurses appear to actually care and it was spotless. The staff was very accommodating, caring and comforting.

I moved into Windsor in December 2024. Staff and residents were very friendly and welcoming. A lot people misunderstand what Windsor is. It’s a nursing home that has the ability to care for bariatric residents, it’s NOT a weight loss clinic. You have to put the work in yourself, 98%, but they will give you all the opportunities and work with you to make sure you have what you need to meet your goals. There are good food choices, and if you track your own calories and be aware of what you’re eating, you can be successful with what’s offered. Nursing and aides are absolutely amazing , the kitchen staff are wonderful and have always helped me with any questions or requests I had that were in their means. The social worker and administration have been wonderful with issues I’ve had and making sure any problems were taken care of. Transportation are such hard workers and I’ve always been able to get to any appointments along my way to gastric bypass. The therapy team are the best you’ll ever meet! They’re encouraging, educational, and very easy to get along with. The mental health team, the respiratory team, activities, housekeeping, maintenance, truly I could gush about them all. If you’re expecting a five star hotel experience, you’ve already got the wrong idea in your head. This facility will help you become independent and work with you towards your goals, but you have to be prepared to take the initiative and put in the work to make progress and succeed.

I was at the facility for almost a year. It started out but gradually i noticed that their was no real dietician. Diabetic are given the same food as regular diets which is crazy, the only diet really offered is a shake diet. The only edible food is the soup and salad. The aides are great and do what they can and therapy department are amazing. Im no longer there due to medical conditions

Cons: The food is all processed sugary-salty, heated up food from Gordon's Food Service. The dietician is uncooperative, does not adjust menus for diabetics. Almost no activities, no trips. Revolving door with staff. Reliance on under trained agency aides. Outdated and non-maintained therapy equipment. Cold water in the showers. Constantly understaffed. Pros: the few long-term staff members are good. The contracted therapy department are the best, even with the poor equipment they are provided. Most of the residents are friendly, fun people. Local town is nice and friendly. If mobile there is a park nearby.

The fact that not only do you allow people eat whatever they want, but you also allow them to get married and create interfacility relationships is beyond me. Your facility created a depression in Caleb he didn't have before because you guys allowed a detrimental relationship to happen in your care. I have absolutely no respect for your facility. Voluntary or not, you are not rehabilitating people you are just collecting a paycheck and getting your kicks off patients. If I could give you zero stars I would.
